Wichita Realtors elect board of directors

The Wichita Area Association of Realtorson Friday announced winners of its board of directors election.

Elected to three-year terms: Angie George,Prudential Dinning-Beard Realtors; Brenda Noffert, Realty World Alliance; Jeffrey Richardson, Crown III Realty; and Patty Sanders, Prudential Dinning-Beard.

Members also elected Jon Quincy, Camelot Realty, to fill a two-year term for a vacant position.

George is extending her stay on the board after filling a one-year vacancy for 2012.

Additionally, incoming board presidentJerry Gray, of J.P. Weigand & Sons Inc., will make three appointments to the board in the near future.

Remaining on the board for 2013 are Bud Cortner, Keller Williams Signature Partners and past-president; Gray, president; Dwyn Thudium, Crown III Realty, president-elect;Chonci Lekawa, RE/MAX Premier; David Leyh, Landmark Commercial Real Estate;Cheryl Huebert, RE/MAX Realty Professionals; Amelia Sumerell, Coldwell Banker Plaza Real Estate; Kim Brace, J.P. Weigand; and John McKenzie, Coldwell Banker Plaza.
