The Old Town Center building in downtown Wichita has sold.

Not many involved in the sale of the four-story office building at First and Mead in Old Town are talking, but a deed for the property was filed Tuesday morning, according to Sedgwick County records.

According to the deed, a Utah-based company called WOTC LLC transferred the property to an entity called Lehmann & Higginson OTC, which has a listed address of 800 E. First St. (the Old Town Center building), suite 401.

Basis Consulting Engineers makes its home in suite 401 in the building. Greg Quigley and Scott Mueller, both engineers with Basis, are listed as “members” of Lehmann & Higginson LLC who own at least 5 percent of the entity, according to Kansas Secretary of State records.

Messages for Quigley and Mueller were not returned as of mid-afternoon on Tuesday. Scott Harper of Landmark Commercial Real Estate and Paul Daemen with Commercial Real Estate Solutions brokered the deal, Harper said in an email.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 41,500-square-foot building — which was erected in 1912 — was appraised at nearly $1.9 million earlier this year, according to county records.
