01 Sep Noah’s opens at the Waterfront
Noah’s Event Venue is now open in the Waterfront development in east Wichita.
The 9,470-square-foot events venue is located at 1550 N. Lindberg Circle, near 13th Street North and Webb Road, and is part of a larger expansion of the Waterfront.
And early indications are Noah’s will have little trouble attracting events.
Chelsea Whitehead, venue manager, says events were being pre-booked well ahead of the Noah’s opening. She says events have already been scheduled as far out as November 2016. Saturdays in April, May and June of next year are already booked, she says.
Whitehead says Noah’s can be configured for various events, such as weddings, corporate functions or birthday parties. At its largest configuration, Noah’s can accommodate 450 people.
Noah’s overlooks a lake on the east side of Waterfront, which Whitehead says adds another amenity to the property.
The Wichita Noah’s is the Utah-based company’s 20th location overall. Another Noah’s is under construction in Overland Park. Whitehead says that facility is expected to open next spring.
The company’s plans to open a Wichita site came to light last summer.
