24 May NewMarket Square is getting a new fashion retailer in the old Dressbarn space
It looks like the national retailer Buckle is planning to open a sttore location at NewMarket Square, an outdoor shopping center in northwest Wichita.
Buckle’s signage recently went up in the windows of the former Dressbarn space that says “coming soon”.
There are two unknowns- those being when the store will open, and what the opening of this new store means for the current locations inside Towne West Square and Towne East square in Wichita. Although, the store has already alluded in recent earning calls to get out of the “underperforming malls” and into outdoor shopping centers.
Marc Knowle, of Kansas City-based CBRE, handles leasing at NewMarket Square, which is located along the North Maize Road corridor between 21st and 29th streets.
