Fee Insurance Group is making a move from one northeast Wichita office park to another.

The fourth-generation, family-owned insurance agency announced in a news release Monday that it will leave behind its space in the Capitol Federal building at Wilson Estates Office Park and relocate to the Waterfront.

Fee Insurance Group’s new office will be in suite 250 of the Hinkle Law Building, at 1617 N. Waterfront Pkwy, near 13th Street and Webb Road. The move will happen in spring 2022, the company said.

“Our continued growth in Wichita over the past seven years necessitated a move and we look forward to deepening our commitment and relationships in Wichita and surrounding communities,” said Tyler Fee, a risk advisor with the firm.

With the addition, the Hinkle Law Building is now fully leased for the first time in its history, said Patrick Ahern of NAI Martens, who alongside Ryan Hubbard represented the landlord on the deal. Zach Zerbe of Landmark Commercial Real Estate represented Fee Insurance Group.

“It’s a really nice mix of tenants, you’ve got insurance, you’ve got a real estate firm, the law firm, the stockbrokers and the accounts,” Ahern said, “and they’re all brand names.”

Founded in 1883, the Hutchinson-based Fee Insurance Group is an independent agency specializing in insurance, risk management and benefits consulting. Besides Wichita, Fee also has offices in Dodge City and McPherson.
