Regency Lakes expansion moving forward in NE Wichita

The Regency Lakes development near 21st Street North and Highway K-96 is expanding.

Construction has started on a 11,375 square-foot building in front of the Cabela’sin that development.

The mixed-use building will include spaces that are 1,625 square feet to 8,475 square feet. Plans call for patio space on the building’s end cap, which will face Greenwich. The building itself will sit on the northeast corner of the Cabela’s parking lot and face 21st Street.

Landmark Commercial Real Estate is the real estate broker for the expansion.

Shelden Architecture Inc. is the architect for the building, which is designed to include seven tenants.

A listing brochure from Landmark indicates that the space will be available Oct. 1.

Elsewhere in Regency Lakes, dirt work has started on a parcel on the northwest corner of 21st and Greenwich.

Both projects are more examples of increased development interest— and activity — along the Greenwich corridor from 13th Street North to K-96.

At Regency Lakes, Cabela’s was a marquee addition in 2012. Hobby Lobby joined the development in 2013 when the company relocated its eastside store from near 21st and Woodlawn.
