Real estate firm: Dunkin’ Donuts coming to Andover

Andover is getting a Dunkin’ Donuts, according to a news release on Thursday.

The coffee and doughnut shop chain location will be at the retail center at 321 S. Andover Road, at the intersection of Kellogg and Andover, according to a release from Landmark Commercial Real Estate.

Landmark president Brad Saville handled the sale of the property for the buyers, franchisees and father/son tandem Doug and Dan Day. The approximately 10,000-square-foot center was sold last week to Two Days Properties, the Days’ company, according to the release.

“This is very exciting to see a national tenant like Dunkin’ Donuts enter the Andover market,” said Saville in the release.

The location, expected to open later this year, will be the third in the Wichita area, not including the store inside the Wichita Eisenhower National Airport. The former Salon Brands space at the center will be renovated to make way for the new Dunkin’ Donuts location.

Zach Zerbe of Landmark’s property management division has taken over management of the retail center and will help oversee the transition, the release said. The lender for the project was Southwest National Bank while the designer for the new space is Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture, according to the release.
