American Family Insurance sells building in west Wichita

The 26,000-square-foot American Family Insurance building in west Wichita has sold.

Terms of the deal, which closed Oct. 15, were not released. The building is at 7325 W. Taft, north of Kellogg and west of Ridge.

Scott Harper of Landmark Commercial Real Estate and the firm Cresa Chicago represented American Family Insurance in the sale of the building. Dan Unruh and Curt Robertson at InSite Real Estate Group represented the buyer, the name of which was not immediately available.

American Family Insurance announced two years ago that it was closing its Wichita claims office as part of an office consolidation around the country.

The 26,000-square-foot building was built in 1991 and also has a 2,000-square-foot basement.
